Rath Yatra was celebrated amid religious fervour at different places in the city on Sunday.
Thousand of devotees dragged chariots carrying Lord Jagannath and his siblings Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra at different Jagannath temples.
Deities were brought on Dhadi Pahandis to chariots amid chanting of slogans and beating of cymbals. After they were seated in chariots, Chherpahnara were conduced. They chariots were pulled by devotees to respective Mausi Maa temples.
The yatra conducted at the Gosaninuagam Jagannath Temple attracted thousands of devotees. Three Raths were pulled by devotees here.
Similarly, the festival was conducted at Bijipur, Pateleswar Temple, Utkal Cinema Road, Military Lane, Mukteswar Temple, Big Bazar- Bada Jagannath Temple and Sano Jagannath Temple.
Police personnel had been deployed to maintain law and order and ensure smooth conduct of the festival at all temples.
